Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 11, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data GenZTalk ("GenZTalk", "we", "us") collects when you use the GenZTalk website and apps, why we collect it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, how we protect it and what rights you have. It is written to meet India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules. By using GenZTalk you agree to this policy.

1. Data we collect

2. Why we use it (purposes)

3. Who we share it with

Public posts and profiles can be seen by other GenZTalk users. Family and Group posts can be seen only by active members. We do not sell your personal data. We use these service providers, only to run GenZTalk:

We may disclose data when required by law, a court order or a lawful government request, or to protect people from harm.

GZ Chat (text, photos, pictures and voice)

When you use GZ Chat, your messages are saved in your conversation history so you can come back to them. Photos you send to GZ are used only to answer you and are not stored. Pictures GZ creates for you are stored privately in your account. In GZ Voice, your voice is streamed to our AI provider to understand and answer you; we keep a text record of the conversation only while the call is running and do not record the audio. The mic button types your words using your own device's speech feature. GZ can search the web to answer questions about recent events. Free accounts have daily limits (messages, voice minutes and pictures); Premium has higher limits.

4. Voice and video calls

Calls connect directly between the people in the call (peer-to-peer). GenZTalk servers only help start the call and do not record it. To make or answer a call you must verify a mobile number by SMS code. Your number is never shown to other users. Video calls are also covered by the safety checks in section 6.

5. Location and activity records

IP-based location, shared GPS location and the activity log are stored in protected records that users cannot read or change. Only the GenZTalk team can see them, and only to keep GenZTalk safe, investigate abuse and meet legal duties. Your approximate city may be shown on your live streams.

6. Automatic safety checks (GZ)

To keep GenZTalk free of nude, sexual and other 18+ content, we use GZ (GZ) to check:

Frames are made small, sent securely to our GZ safety provider, checked within seconds and then thrown away. We do not keep the frames and ask our provider not to store them or use them for training. When something is blocked we keep a short note (what kind of content, where and when) so our team can review it and handle appeals.

If content is found unsafe, it is blocked or the live stream/call is ended, and you get a warning. Three blocks within 30 days lead to an automatic 7-day suspension. GZ can make mistakes, so our team reviews flags and you can appeal. If the check is briefly unavailable, content may go through and can still be reported.

7. How long we keep data

8. How we protect your data

No system is 100% secure. If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

9. Your rights

You can see and edit your profile, delete posts, stop sharing your location, block people and delete your account in the app. You can also ask us for a summary of your data, to correct it, or to erase data we are not required to keep, and you can withdraw consent. To make a request, email us (section 12). We reply within the time the law requires. You may also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

10. Children

GenZTalk is not for children under 13. Where the law treats a user as a child (under 18 in India), we need consent from a parent or guardian, and we do not show targeted ads to children or track them for advertising. If you think a child is using GenZTalk without consent, contact us and we will remove the account.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will change the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the app.

12. Contact and grievance officer

Grievance Officer: GenZTalk Inc, 1050 Wall St W - 630, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071, USA. Email: support@genztalk.com. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
